I covered 7 miles today (it says 8 on my Daily Mile count, but that’s because I didn’t add my single mile from yesterday to it), and now my calves & feet are hanging out, snug as a bug in a rug, in my compression socks while dinner cooks away. Up until I saw this picture today I didn’t have a to-do list. Basically, I wanted to run, go to work, and go home.
The best song that came on my iPhone while I was running was “Where have you been?” by Rihanna. Every time I hear this song on the radio I want to dance!
One exciting (well, my definition of exciting is probably a lot different than yours considering I got excited when I remembered I had a bag of grapes in my purse while I was at work) thing I have concocted in the kitchen:
A homemade chai latte! My mom & sister bought some chai concentrate and one of those battery operated hand foamer thingies the other day. Anyway, I poured a bit of the concentrate into my mug, then topped it with almond milk and put it in the microwave before foaming it. You actually get awesome foam with the little foamer! I was quite impressed. It tastes just like a Starbucks latte, only you get to control what goes in it and there’s no waiting in line while someone orders their drink a quarter sweet, 2/3 water, light foam, extra hot, etc. etc. biz.
