The EASIEST Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hey, hey, everyone. It is Friday Eve, and today I am sharing a seriously easy cookie recipe.

Three ingredients.

Lots of flavour.

Chocolate cravings? I’ve got you covered.

What you will need:

2 ripe bananas

1 1/2 cup oats

CHOCOLATE CHIPS! Add as much as you like.

*Preheat oven to 350degrees C

First, you will want to put the bananas into a bowl and mash them until they are almost liquidy. This will help bind everything together without the use of eggs or oils. Next, add in your oats. Stir until everything is sticky and combined. Depending on how much banana you have, you may want to add more oats, depending on how “chunky” you want your cookies to be. Next, add in your chocolate chips.

I lined a baking sheet with parchment paper, then scooped the cookie batter onto the parchment paper. You can squish them down if you like a flatter cookie, but it does cook well if you want a squishier, gooey cookie too. Once your cookies are arranged on the baking sheet, pop them into the oven for about 12 minutes or until they are firm. You will notice that the edges are golden – that’s when you know they are done.

Voila! An easy peasy cookie recipe. You can also add any other ingredients and spices if you like, such as coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, dried cranberries, seeds, and more. There’s lots of ways to customize these easy cookies!
