I must admit, it is often hard passing up chocolate cake for something healthier, but every small step you take has a big impact on your health. That’s not saying that I don’t indulge every now and then, because really, I do! I have a huge sweet tooth, and I love me some carbs. However, it’s all about balance. If you think eating healthily is expensive, think of all the expenses you will run into once illness rears its ugly head!
Since I started this blog, I have ran 13 half marathons – I have yet to run a full! – and have competed in my first fitness competition where I took home 3rd place novice in the bikini division. It was an experience that definitely taught me a lot about what my mind and body can accomplish.
